Growing up in her father’s restaurants, Valerie Gangas learned the ins and outs of the industry from a young age. But despite loving and working in the restaurant business, she had always held a secret desire – to own a hotel. Her connection to hotels came from her parents as well,  who’d order her a Shirley Temple in an upscale hotel piano bar and dance the night away in each other’s arms. Enchanted by their love story, Valerie dreamed of owning a hotel and recreating those special moments for guests.

With a background in customer service, real estate, and hospitality, Valerie took that love for high-end hotels and began buying homes in Southwest Michigan, completing stunning redesigns, and managing them herself. As more and more people approached her to manage their homes, Juniper Holiday + Home grew organically – between adding clients through word of mouth and building homes to add to the portfolio, they now manage over 40 homes and are growing steadily.

Even with all that growth, Valerie doesn’t accept just any home into her portfolio. The homes her team builds set the standard with beautiful designs and all the bells and whistles. She works with designers to ensure that each home meets the standards of a five-star hotel with all the comforts of home. From dog bowls and treats to kids’ books, games, and kitchenware, from full concierge services to beautiful guidebooks and local pastries, Valerie’s team has a goal to surprise and delight guests and make each vacation memorable.

They are full service, from deliveries and maintenance to design and renovations.
